i needed to replace the laser on my slimline ps2. it's a PVR-802W laser. however, i don't quit understand the whole concept of un-soldering or de-soldering as some people have called it. can anyone full explain it to me and all so explain the part that i'm supposed to un-solder. if anyone has a picture/diagram of the laser that illustrated the part to un-solder that would be even better. i'd appreciate any and all help. thanks

best I can say check ebay for an alike lens and see if it has pics for desoldering it

my ps2 won't read certain of DVD+R and some DVD-R, I just wondering if its laser head problem that won't read DVD+-R or its the modchip.. do you guys know thanks
