how to get to evoX menu?

I have bought an aladin mod chip with evoX, and I can burn games to DVD's and play them.
But I heared it's possible to FTP to your hard drive also, now I don't know how to do that but I heared that people have to change some IP settings etc. on theyr xbox.

I thought I had to push the power button some longer to activate evoX so I did that, evoX started. But the evoX menu on my xbox is exactly the same as the normal xbox dashboard the only thing diffrent: is that at start up you see the evoX logo in the top-right of the screen, and that it reads burned DVD's.
so I don't know where or how to change settings.
please help.
