ive ben trying to burn a ps2 game and i have the software needed. ive got da game downloaded, ive extracted da files using winrar, den gone 2 dvd dcrypter>mode>iso>write, chosen the file and put my blank dvd-r in it. It does not detect it. i used tried 3 blank dvds, 2 dvd-r and 1 dvd+r, they still dont work! what can i do?!

What wont it detect? Do you mean DVD Decrypter does not see the blank dvd you have inserted in the drive?? if this is the case have you 2 dvd drives installed? click on the arrow at the right of the drive it has named and select the other drive ( if you have 2) Or does your burn not work? try better media at a slower speed, and as was said in a previous post is your ps2 chipped or have you swap magic? Or try right cli8cking on the iso and select burn with DVD Decrypter, insert your blank dvd in your drive first before doing this
Nope it's not a dvd burner... it's a combo drive cd writer/dvd rom.. I did a search and found out for you.
That's why it's not recongising the dvd-r's then as there's nothing on there to recognise.
Buy a decent dvd burner and then try again.
[edit] By the way, you do realise that you have to have either a hardware mod (modchip) or a software mod like swapmagic + a fliptop/slidecard etc to play the backed-up games right?
No offense meant - but considering that you didn't know if you had a dvd writer or not... I took a guess and thought you might not know this either.
yh i got swap magic and slide card, i didnt no whether or not i had a dvd burner coz i treid buring other stuff like music and it worked. thanks 4 da info
