Hello all, I was hoping for some help here. I tried to back-up this game with Dycrypter and Nero. On both programs, I can rip fine but when I put in the blank DVD-R it starts to write the lead-in and does nothing else. After awhile it freezes and I can't stop the program or turn off my computer. It's not the media, I use authentic TY and never had a problem. I also saw that no one really had a problem buring this game, that's why I'm stumped. Thanks in advance.

So, does this mean that no one knows what the problem is, or does no one care. It seems that some people would rather argue about what console is "the best" or complain about how many times newbies ask the same questions, than to acually help people. Thanks again for all the help.

Whoah, settle down man. Maybe no one did know, so they probably didn't feel like making a pointless post saying they didn't.

Have you tried any other games since and did this happen then as well? Or is it only this game. If it's only this game, sounds like a bad file.

This sounds a lot like a problem I had one day suddenly with my burner. My DMA mode had actually switched off somehow, and I had to reset it. Look here to find out about that. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

Sorry, I just find it hard to believe that no one on this entire site had any ideas about what this problem could be. Thank you for your reply, and no I haven't tried any other games. I wanted to see what possible problems it could be before I continued to make coasters. As far as my DMA, I know all about it, and my IDE is set correctly. BTW, it will divert to PIO when more than six DMA transfer timeouts occur on that device. Thanks.
