Broke silver ribbon while installing flip top. Please help me fix this.

I was installing a flip top and while I was trying to get the reset and power buttons out the silver ribbon that connects them to the interior came out. Please,can someone help me.

you just have to slip it back into the slot where it belongs
or if it is ripped replace it, they are pretty cheap.
