Hi,

I'm new to watching videos through the TV out on my Radeon x850XTPE -> TV setup. I bought a "Pro S-Video + audio to 3 RCA" cable from svideo.com. It consists of the S-Video connector and a 3.5mm stereo jack, which I connect to my video and sound cards, on one end, and the standard yellow - red - white RCA connectors on the other.

The video is perfect, and I can hear the audio, except there's a very loud buzzing / humming noise, the loudness of which relates to the volume of the television. The trouble is, a lot of my movies have low volume levels, even with the PC's volume on max, so we have to turn the television up also.

My TV is a Toshiba 32A32 with no S-Video input, which is why I got that cable. I'm running the PC at 1024X768 which fills the TV screen, with the TV as the only display device (disabling my computer monitor).

Any ideas?
