Hi! I'm new to backing up ps2 games, and I am having some trouble that I hope you can help me with. I bought the swap magic 3.6 with slide tool combo. I think that I have gotten the slide tool instructions correct, and I know how to use the discs, but Im still having problems.
First of all, I burn the dvds using dvd decrypt, but for some reason I can't make my dvd burner slow down. I finally set the write speed down to 1x and that got me down to a little over 4x. Does anybody know why this would be?
Secondly, everytime I put a disc in using the swap magic boot disc it says its not a valid ps2 disc. Every fix I've seen, or faq I've read, etc tell you how to troubleshoot the swap magic v2, but nobody has anything on 3.6.
If anybody could provide any suggestions or help it would be very very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I really think a good part of my problem might be the 3.6 discs. My PS2 doesn't recognize the CD disc. Also I'm concerned that my DVD burner won;t slow down, do you know what could be causing that?
