Hello I am one of the many that have encountered problems backing up the movie "Hitch".

**First Question*** Is it necessary for me to correct start sector addresses if I want to view my back-up DVDs on a settop DVD player? If that is not the case, I will continue burning DVDs without this process. The reason I ask this is because I have no problems with "Hitch" if I do not attempt to repair start sector addresses ***If this is necessary settop playback please read on***

I have read several posts describing how to properly complete the back-up process. However, before I came a cross this movie I was under the impression that I must repair all file pointers before encoding to a blank DVD; in order to make my back-ups viewable on a settop DVD player. This is where I am a little confused.

I have ripped all files from my version of Hitch with the latest version of DVD Decrypter. I typically use IfoEdit to repair these addresses. My "Hitch" DVD contains VOB,BUP,IFO files up to VTS_31_0.* However, the VIDEO_TS.IFO file for "Hitch" only contains information ie. title sets, parental masks, etc. up to 29. So to correct the VTS_30_0 and VTS_31_0 (VOB,BUP,IFO)files I manually select them and run this process without any problems.

But when I go to OPEN the files in DVD Shrink. I receive an error message stating "Invalid Data in file "D:\...\...\...\VTS_30_0.VOB""
