Can anyone tell me if I need to burn a dvd in a different way so it can be play by my family in Canada. I have made a dvd using nero it plays on uk machines ok, but not on there player. Does the different tv system made a difference (PAL VS NTSCT).
To answer your question, Canada is in the same region coding as the United States. if you have any movies from the UK you are most likely going to need to remove the region coding to be able to play them in a North American bought dvd player.
Also, Canada is NTSC, so is the United States. There is a difference between PAL and NTSC, however there are DVD players as well as TV's that play both PAL and NTSC. I myself am able to play both on my dvd player. If you have a PAL disc there are a few ways to get it to play on a NTSC dvd player.
