I tried my own solderless mod, couldnt do it, Xenium ice. Turned out to be a 1.6 motherboard. Read a thread about this guy, http://www.temeculamodder.com/index.php. Contacted him, chanced it. One labor charge no matter how much work, best customer service I ever dealt with anywhere. Xecuter 3 chip. Best price around for a 120GB drive replacement. Nice leds on front of box. Installs all the software for you. With first two hours I had 4 games copied to the hard drive, and ftp'd to PC and reburned out to blank DVDs that DO work in the Xbox. Couldnt be happier.
