I am trying to burn my movie Left behind with DVD Shrink and Any DVD running in the back but I get an error "Invalid DVD navigation structure" when I try to open it in DVD shrink. Anyone had this problem?

Make sure you have the latest version of DVD Decrypter.

The latest Version is Currently: Version 3.5.4.0

Use DVD Decrypter to "rip" the DVD to your hard drive in "File" mode - and from the "Edit" dropdown menu, select "All files" (NOT "movie files").

Then use DVD Shrink to "Open files" (NOT "Open Disk") - and select "VIDEO_TS.IFO" or the actual "VIDEO_TS" folder.

A good tutorial on how to accomplish this is located here: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45238

Download DVD Decrypter version 3.5.4.0 here: http://mrbass.org/dvdrip/

Did You have any luck ripping this movie with dvd decrypter? I was unable to do it with shrink and dvd decrypter was unable to rip it as well. Both programs were giving me errors. Now I am trying DVDFab Decrypter and that seems to be working as far as ripping. I also tried ripping with AnyDVD running in the background as I did with bewitched and had no luck. I guess I should also note this a Sony disc. I'm just wondering if anyone else has made a successful backup of this movie and how did they do it. Thanks

If it's a Sony disc I would use DVDFab Decrypter on it.

Why DVD Shrink with AnyDVD didn't work is beyond me....

Well DVDFab, the latest version 2.9.5.8, will NOT rip this movie. I have tried everything except AnyDVD, which someone above said didn't work anyway. I have been doing this for years and know how to use these programs - but I can't get past this error.

It is always confusing when I read someone else has used it successfully. Any ideas?
