how to back up Orange sony dvd

How the hell do you back up those orange columbia/sony dvds, for example Kung Fu Hustle. I have tried dvd shrink, dvd copy x plus others and none will rip them. Any ideas please?

If you are going to copy DVDs then you first have to remove copy protection. The best I know of is DVD Decrypter which is available from this site, you can also burn with DVD Decrypter.

Cheers m8, I will give DVD Decrypter ago. I have never had any trouble before, its just the sony metallic orange discs. they must have some latest form of protection that DVD Shrink 3.2 cant rip.

DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter are no longer updated, thrus they will not be able to overcome the newer encryption.

DVDFab Decrypter and AnyDVD are still updated and will work on any protection.

I already answered this in your other post under the DVD Shrink forum.
