AVI2DVD burnt dvd problem. Help!

Hello. So I recently tried out the avi2dvd program to convert a movie i had into a dvd. The program ran smoothly, and I had no problems creating the dvd. After creation, the DVD would play on my modded X-box and my computer, but it would not play on 3 seperate stand alone DVD players. I tried 2 different types on DVD media as well, and it will would not play on the stand alone players. Any idea why this may be? Thanks in advance!!!
