Hi,
I'm not sure so I thought I should ask you guys. The typical blank one-sided DVD will hold 120 minutes. If I run Anydvd in the background, can I copy on-the-fly a DVD that contains the movie plus all extras that is less than 120 minutes long or must I run it through shrink first? Thanks. Oh, what about if the DVD that I'm backing up runs a little longer than 120 minutes? How far can I go?

It'a all done by data, so a blank dvd can hold 4.7GB of data.

You'll need to take the DVD and run it thru DVD Shrink to get it to 4.7GB and then burn it after using whatever burning program floats your boat.

The 120 Mins applies to music. It's like a CD-R, 700MB of data or 80 Mins of music.

Even though the disk states 4.7g it is more like 4.5g max you will not be able to get 4.7g on the disk.

You can try audiograbber it is supposed to be able to rip CDG tracks.
