Problem with backing up psx Crash Team Racing

I have done all the searching on the forums, downloaded the software and am as yet still not able to back up this CD.
I am using
- Clony XXL
- Alcholer
- Alcohol 120

When I run Clony it reports that the CD has Libcrypt protection.
I run Alcholer which reports the same
Start up Alcohol 120 from Alcholer

It runs up until 89% and then reports numerous read errors after about 10 minutes....2 hours later and it's up to 90.1%

What am I missing???

The same happens when backing up Barbie Race and Ride...

Has anyone successfully backed up these games??? And if so, how?

You must have the PAL version, the NTSC version isn't mod protected. You need to patch it with PPFomatic and burn it with CDRWIN.
