Now, with a regular ISO file, which is DNA$ unpatched, i get the DNA$ last 3 units of the DNA id of the game right? Then what? All i have to do is GUESS the first 2 units? that's like 4 digits? and what exactly are your chances of guessing the right one? or does every guess work?

Also, which is the best(or easiest) program for patching an ISO file with a DNAS id ??

Id say WinDIP is the best for patching DNAS. The first 2 sets of digits are guessed yes. Hypothetically speaking most of the time whatever you put there letters/numbers will work. I have a program that randomly generates them.

any combo of 0-9 and/or A-F will work for the 1st 2 sets.

Version 1 PS2
Fliptop lid
Swap Magic 3.6
NEC 3250A 16x DL burner
Tayio Yuden 8x Media

what happens when you get a game you have to manualy patch the dnas id and say you messed up and want to repatch the file say when the disk id patchers wont pick it up and you have to use the disk id inserter open the .iso in apache 2 or whatever you use extract the dnas file patch it with the disk id inserter and insert it back into the image well say you messed up on one of the disk ids number or letters and you have to repatch it with the disk id inserter from ps2nfo it wont repatch it what do you do and why wouldnt they put a unpatch button in the disk inserter like they did with there other disk id patcher dont make any sense to me if you try to open a already patched dnas file in the disk inserter it comes up files may already be patched so your screwed if you already patched it and want to repatch it with a new disk id i mean cause since the other patchers wont pick up the dnas file inside the iso you have to manualy patch it and the only app i know to use to patch the dnas file with is from ps2nfo the disk id inserter it has the exploding firecracker icon on your desktop hope you know which program i mean i couldnt find the link to it
