I have a non-modded version 5/6 PS2 and was wondering what versions of gameshark or action replay will be compatible with the swap method. I tried searching for this but could not find the answer. Thanks

the new gameshark v5 (it says GAME CODES on top of the box. and its broadband enabled) works fine. Load it up, pick the codes, press eject, put swap magic in, load swap magic, insert backup through flip top/slide card, and hit X

just be warned though, its goin to be hard to find codes for this game especially if you are playing imported titles. no one knows how to hack/make codes for this gameshark.

for action replay get the action replay max. it works (JALANEME FOUND A SOLUTION). Load ARMAX, pick the codes, press eject, load swap magic, as soon as ARMAX is loading swap magic (it would say loading game in the black screen) take your memory card off. Swap the backup when swap magic is done loading, and hit X. Should load the game after.

Hope this help. Let me know what happens. I know its a pain trying to get everything to work. I bought 3 kinds of game enhancers and found out 2 of them are the only ones that works....

Thanks, I appreciate it. Only one question, you say to swap the disc with swap magic, I assume that an original PSX game would do the same thing?

ummm im not so sure....i have never tried it.....but the swap magic loads up a program for you and then it tells you to load the game....so in terms it sets your ps2 up for back up/import games and you switch it....so im guessing a psx game wouldnt do that....

poloplyr1 for the gameshark v5 you say after you pick the codes to press the eject button. Do you mean press start (then says start game with codes) and the tray opens automatically, or just press eject after you've selected the codes you want?

oooops sorry!

yeah for the gameshark v5 pick the codes, press start, and the tray pops out automatically. Put in SM disc, let it load, and swap it with the backup game.
