Mega Memory as boot disc?

Can anyone tell me any reason why my mega memory disc will not work as a boot disc like swap magic? Its got the burnt sector code or whatever its called and it pauses to let you swap discs anyway!

Any nerdy technical explanations particularly welcome!

never heard of it but make sure you use the right kind of backup as in if its a cd disk cd game dvd disk dvd game
