Hi all,
I`ve tried to search as much as possible, but still have a
couple of questions.
I have a Japanese PS2 Version 4 (no gap bios) SCPH-30000
Basically want to buy a cheap mod-chip for playing back-ups only,
can`t decide from the many choices...

Duo 2 SE <seems reliable, but a hassle to use?> From mod-chip.com
H2O Mod (subzero fix inc.) <cheap, easy to use, but not much info available> From divineo
Modbo 2.0 <heard some bad things about this one> From divineo

Any opinions? Yes, I know there are better chips available,
but I just want something cheap and easy to use to play back-ups
only. Soldering is no problem at all.

I like the sound of H2O Mod, I asked a question to their site
last night and got a reply within a couple of hours... pretty
good service!

Thanks all!

Well, I did a bit more searching, don`t know if I`m
allowed to say this here? (If not, pls delete). But
seems divineo is not such a great company to deal with?
Talking about slow delivery times, non-working chips,
poor customer service... does anybody want to comment?
PLEASE!! I want to decide which chip to buy this week!

Cheers!

Oh I`m feeling lonely!

Doesn`t ANYBODY wanna comment?! C`mon, I tried my
best to search as much as possible by myself, I need
a little help here!!

Duo 2 SE ... US$ 19 mod-chip.com
H2O Mod (subzero fix inc.) ... US $16.00 xmodds
Modbo 2.0 ... US$ 19 mod-chip.com

H2O Mod and Modbo 2.0 both play back-ups directly I
think... no need for a special button sequence. (unlike Duo 2 SE)

I just want something cheap and easy to play back-ups.
