Well I flashed my BIOS to a DVD and it doesnt seem to even read it: only reads to disc name, and shows it on the screen.

Plus, in oreder to turn off Flash Protect does it have to be off on the actual modchip, or is it ok on just the switch.

Ok your DHCP isn't initiallizing...do you have a router?? You would need that to network flash via http.

@drewdan: What? That is what flashbios is for IS to flash your bios. Not having a bios flashed isn't doing that, as the poing of this screen is to flash another bios. wow

Anyway. If you burned your bios to a DVD, you will need to make it larger, writing 1MB to a disc that holds 4.7GB won't work as only a little sliver of it will hold info. Search for a dummy file creator, it will create a huge file (100MB+) that you will need to flash with it.

Read this here.
http://www.teamxecuter.com/qwixnero.htm?CMSSESSID=c85fd68f4084903...

That will help you make the right disc, you can't just put stuff on. It needs to be made an Xiso, not reg iso, so the xbox dvd rom can read it. The quix tut for making a folder an iso means put your bios and the huge dummy file you made into that folder, then burn the xiso with Nero or whatever.
Hope this helps you

Only works with DHCP, that I know of. If you have a router, it will automatically assign and IP to the xbox that will show up when you goto network flash, then you just type that into the browser. But if you have quix to make bios CD, you don't need to network flash. It's either one or the other.
Also if you have an X3, make sure you use the X3 bios.
