I am trying to burn Mpeg?s to a dvd?I had a 440mb mpeg and I convetered it to a dvd format and it expanded to 1.56 gb the folder contains a few vob files a few bup and a few ifo. I don?t want to put just 3 of these mpegs on a dvd so I was trying to shink them and when I try to open the folder I get a ?Invalid DVD structure? any ideas? Also does anyone know how to take a dvd and put it on a dvd disc w/o it expanding or if it does know how to shrink it? Thanks a lot in advance

What I've done is used a program called "Ulead DVD Movie Factory" it takes your mpg, AVI files and creates menus and converts them to dvd format.

I run my files thru this and create a dvd folder about 7 gigs or so and then open shrink up and shrink it down to 4.7GB so that it will fit on a single DVD-R disc.

I've never had a problem this way.

you shouldn't get "invaild dvd structure" when you try to open it in DVD Shrink. What program did you use to convert from mpg, AVI to dvd format?

The error code you got ususally refers to a bad .ifo file ( corrupt) you might try converting again using the program above.
