so i play madden alot and was wondering if there was anything like a ethernet splice that i could plug the main cable into then have one end going to the ps2 and the other going to the computer. right now the router is down the hall and im running a 100ft ethernet cable into this room. you know how if u want 2 phones to come out of the same line theres a splice thing do they make one of them for ethernet cables and would it slow it down hella

For the best results you should probably connect both the PS2 and computer to different ports on the router (move it if you can). If you have a wireless router you could get a wireless card for your PC and just leave the cable plugged into the PS2 all the time.

the router is in a diff. room and i cant run antoher wire there again. so is there a cheap way to take that ethernet cable and splice it into 2 diff. cables so one can go to the ps2 and the other to the comp. thanks for your help
