DVD2SVCD - No vob files... only mpv & ac3 files

I have followed the guide How to Convert DivX to DVDR with DVD2SVCD on afterdawn with a DivX movie.

The movie is in 2 seperate files of 717Mb so I had to join both files together using Virtual Dub.

I used Cinema Craft Encoder 2.5 as my main encoder and set all the options as described in the guide, except I did not choose to create an ISO image (I am low on harddisk space).

The guide says that DVD2SVCD will create a VIDEO_TS folder, but it hasn't ???

The largest files it has produced are an mpv file (which when I play is the movie with no sound) and an ac3 file.

The 'Subs' directory is empty.

So why hasn't DVD2SVCD created a VIDEO_TS folder, which would presumably contain vob files for me to burn to a DVD.

Is there anyway I can use the mpv and ac3 files to burn this movie as a DVD ?

Its taken days to do this conversion (using a 1GHz, 256Mb, 20Gb HDD laptop) so I dont want to have to try it again !!!

Free on drive C: 3735.39 mb before the video encoding and the video is 3668.5 mb. That leaves about 67MB's free. I'm suprised that windows is even running properly.

On a side note, I also notice that it is re-encoding the audio. Why it is already AC3. Also you have the two CD's as well as the joined file. You could free up 1.36GB's.
