Help Please I am new to the world of DVD and would like to be able to take clips from dvd films and use them in my own DVD creations.
The software I am after would let me extract part of the footage of a standard DVD rented from a hire shop and save it in a format that would be recognised by Pinnacle Studio 9 (possibly AVI with sound and video together). So that I can then insert it in my own video creation. For example I might hire a Dvd that has some good footage of steam trains, I would extract these bits of the footage and use them in my own creation on steam vehicles in general.
Can this be done and what software can I use?
