I have many downloaded episodes of a tv show that i like, and i was wondering if it is possible to put them all (or what I can fit) onto a DVD+r...I am using WinAVI and Nero. The episodes were all in avi format, so I used WinAVI to convert them into dvd format...the problem is, the files are all saved as VTS_01_0 under dvd_0 and dvd_1...sorry if this doesnt make sense. i'm not much of an expert. But I do not want to resort to using 30 CDs to hold the episodes.
When i try to burn the files with Nero onto a DVD, i get the message: "DVD-Video files compliance test failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue?"
and then when i click OK, a second later i get: "A non critical error occured during the operation, which may result in a defective write. Do you wish to continue the write anyway?"
What does this mean and how can i prevent myself from recieving these messages??
I have gotten this message only once and that was when I re-authored Amityville Horror. I am not sure what was wrong with the movie, but I ran it through Nero Recode and it fixed it. However, recode did not run smoothly. It gave me weird errors and crashed during the quick analysis. After about 5 tries it worked.
You can try running it through Nero Recode and if you do not have it, try DVD Shrink. Another thing you can try is to download IFOEdit. Open VIDEO_TS.ifo and then click "get VTS Sectors". This may fix something in the IFO files. This is possibly where the problem lies.
I am sorry I could not help you much here. You can try posting your Nero Log. There are lots of people here that know how to read it and tell you what happened.
