CUSTOM RINGTONES HELP

Alright I have a Motorola V188 with MPT installed (latest version & fully updated). They are communicating just fine. I can transfer pictures and sound onto my phone. I can set the images as wallpapers and screensavers.

Two problems:

1. I cannot set the sounds that I upload to my phone as ringtones. I can only play them. Only the factory ringtones and ringtones that i bought can be set as ringtones.

2. I cannot delete the factory ringtones and images. MPT's media manager doesn't even read the factory files.

If anyone has any information or solutions regarding these PLEAASSE reply. Thanks in advance.
