Hello,

I have two MPEG2 files that i had encoded using TMPGEnc, so their about two gigabytes each, i want to shrink each of the mpeg's so they fit on a 4.7 Gb dvd+r disc....

At the moment TMPGEnc cannot author the two mpeg's as they go over the exceeded limit by approx. 4500(mb i presume).

So which software should i use to shrink the media files?

And how easy is it to actually shrink the media files?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

If the files are DVD-Compliant ( .VOB,.ifo,bup) then you can use DVDShrink to compress the files . Look at the top under software

Just like to add;

They are dvd compliant MPEG2 files, i used TMPGEnc to encode them to DVD PAL, i just need to author them,

Do i author them first, because i keep getting an error message from Easy DVD Shrink that 'Request path not found' and in the source it says 'VIDEO_TS' so im thinking i have to author the two MPEG'S with the limit exceeded then use DVD Shrink to reduce the size so that it will fit onto DVD.
