dunno if its been asked before, cant find anything bout it on with the search.. but can ya download an image of the latest swap magic disc (3.6) and load it up with an old version? (say 2.0)

Interesting, I'm not sure. You can't boot a backup of Swap Magic, except with an original copy or a modchip. Off hand I'd say no. Even if you could, you'd have to swap 3 times to play a game, yuck. Hell you probably do that already with SM 2.0, CD loader, DVD loader, or Cogswap loader.

see some games dont load with old versions of swap magic so booting up another disc to play a game that otherwise wouldnt work isnt so much bother then.. anyways guess ill just have to test it.. gonna have to find an image

that should work just fine, that is about the only way to load a
back up copy of Swap Magic, with an original copy.
But then you are talking about swapping 3 times every time
you want to play a game. That's just too much hassle for me.
