I have a version 30001 ps2. Bought it at launch. 2 summers ago i got my first dre and i sent it back to sony, they repaired it but it took 3 weeks. Then last summer it happend again, so i decided to fix it myself. I went online and got a step by step thing on how to do it. I fixed it! Now 3 or 4 months later, its out again. Ive tried every position of the laser in distance to the cd. The laser is still glowing the red, it reads black bottems, and music cds. But i cant get it to read my dvd, and dvd games. Someone please help me. Can you adjust the voltage on this version ps2? Is there anything else i can do?
