i have been trying quite a long time to backup my action replay max. today i found out something that got me closer to that acheivement. since big.dat big2.dat padding and dummy.zip couldn't be copied to my hard drive (sector read error) i dummed them with the notepad trick. i did my rearangement with zandals cdvd gen helper --> iml2dvd --> burned with nero. i booted with my swap magic and all went fine untill i got this: i pressed the codelist button and there was no code. just the add new one option. so i figured put that some of the dummed files contained the codes. also when i tried the memory card manager the screens' graphics got messed up and i couldn't see a thing . despite that fact i managed to see that my ar max settings file was in so something is going on with the programs reading capabilities after the backing up. well i'm lost and any help would be really taken in to concideration in case i decided to make a rip guide if we can finally succeed. i was thinking that we might be able to see what those dummed files contained and i was hoping that one of those great rippers out there could give us a hand in this. an extractor method would help if i'm not mistaken.
