i'm new to the ps2 world and i need some asistance with some doubts i have. I've been told that if you play ps games in a ps2 you could damage the console. is that true?
I'd like to play ffix in my ps2 is there a way to back up the 4 cds in a dvd? if that is not possible what is the better way to back up this game?
I'd like someone to give me a good tutorial to back up ps and ps2 games.

someone already answered you in your other post.
The answer is no it will not hurt the PS2 to play PS1 games
that is part of wht it was made to do, it is backwards
compatible.
And the CD games you would just have to burn to 4 new CD's

Well I wouldn't expect any less from the leader of the Shinchintai. Lord Sesshomaru strikes you down with the Tokijin. Anyways burning PSX games is a snap. Check here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/236278 If you want to boot PSX backups you need a modchip, Breaker Pro, MC exploit, or Gameshark Lite. I use Breaker Pro with a flip top and it works great.
