im using toast titanium 7.01 on my mac and on a different forum it said to just load the disc and press copy to back up a ps2 dvd but i thought there must be something more to it. if not, thats great, but with all these threads about decrypting and rebuilding an iso, i figured it wouldnt be this much easier to do it on a mac. also, it said to burn an iso that's already on my hd onto a dvd just open it and burn it, but again i read on this site about rebuilding them in the right order, etc. also, i was trying to back up god of war but when i pressed copy it said "could not record the disc because the disk is full" "result code = -34" finally, i was wondering if the above is true (being able to burn a game with toast just by pressing copy), and if so how would i burn a working game with online dnas if you need to rearrange the files and make your own dnas code thing.

I'm not real familar with Mac ripping, but there is a whole forum devoted to it. Most PS2 games are easy to burn. I don't know if there is a Mac version of DVD Decrypter, again consult the Mac ripping forum. http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/56 There are two main reasons people rebuild games, so that a DVD-9 or dual layer game fits onto a DVD-5 or single layer DVD, and because a game over of 4.38GB's can be difficult to load with Swap Magic. Other than that some games have dummy files which take up space and spread out the game files, and allow it run smoother. Some people rebuild the games by taking out the dummy files, to reduce the game's size so it can run better with Swap Magic. This is relatively low percentage of games, around 5%.
