ok i am just learning but have read threw a bunch of these forums and guides, i backed up batman begins just fine with shrink and 120% but with one night in paris i have tried shrink and decryptor and it only finishes to 89% any recemendations on which software programs to use or steps to take? or maybe a better guide to look at.

You will have to be more specific, is it stopping during the burn stage, shrink, or decrypting? comp specs, media you are using, speed, burner, is teh comp freezing, I need way more info.

i have used shrink and decrypt they both stop at 89% i have a dell demension 3000 and no my pc does not freeze

But is it stopping during Shrink's compression or decrypt's burn/decoding phase? can you give me your burner model number and firmware?

Real important to know when it is freezing up. Possibly a bad disc.

Check the guide in my signature for dvddecrypter and dvdshrink. They are great with pix and if you follow step by step you cannot go wrong.

i tried using your guide and i did it word for word but in the decrypt process it gets to 89% and then it starts to have read errors and right beside it in () it goes 1 retries 2,3,4,5,6,7,8... and i cant get past it any ideas what to do
