Strange ISO size ?

Hi guys,
I'm in trouble because I've noticed something very strange.
I've got an ISO of a software and I wish to add a directory and a file to it with MagicISO.
The original size of ISO is 491 MB (515.610.624 byte).
The file i want to add is 100 MB (105.673.488 byte).

After I created a directory and added the file, I try to save the file and after that I see that the size of the ISO is 900 MB!!!

Why?
And there is a way to add the file to the ISO so the final size is 491+100 -> 591 MB?
