hi, i have a spare computer hard-drive. i have this special cable which converts my hard disk plug to a USB plug. So my Hard-Drive is a Plug'n'Play (no drivers required). How do i get this to work with my ps2. What do i need to format it in??? Do i need any disks to play on my ps2 like for example i u use swap magic for backups??? Do i need to put a program on my hard-drive so the ps2 recognizes it? how do u get games to work from my hard-drive? please answer these questions for me. thanks alot.

You need to buy USBExtreme discs to read from the hard drive. Thats about it.

Hey, hate to sound so clueless but i have been looking at a lot of forums and still cant clear this up.

I have a HP media drive that runs as a standalone external hd via usb.

Does this mean if i install the right programs on the hard drive along with a few back up games i can load the "loader Program" for hte games and play them via usb? Or do i HAVE to have a sony network adapter and conect it throught that ?

Any help would be great as this is driving me crazy

Thanks,

Nicky

If you have a usb hard drive you should just need that.. the instructions come with the disc on how to format and everything I should think.

You also may want to check this out before deciding whether it's worth buying or not.
