I have a Sony 5.1 Amp/Receiver and use this only for surround sound when playing back Audio. I also have an old Analog Receiver which I use to drive 2 regular stereo speakers, what I would like to do is use the Sony HT Amp in the same way I would use the other receiver, to drive just the 2 speakers, will this work as effective as the Analog Receiver? If so, on which channels can I run the 2 stereo speakers? Thanks.

you'd use the left and right front outputs on the receiver and set it in stereo.
