DVD Shrink ecountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "C:\Charlotte_Disc1.ISO"
Invalid Access to memory location

What in the world does that mean???

I used decryptor then when shrink started to read the iso it stopped and said that.....I have baked up many, many movies with no problems before...why now???

Anyone??? THanks in advance.

Looks like starwars episode 3. I just did that one using DVD Shrink and Nero only! Nothing out of the norm as for encryption. Not even a need to activate AnyDVD.

Probably dirty or bum disc.

I am having problems ripping Star Wars Episode 3 Disc 2. I did the first disc fine. Even compressed it using DVD Shrink. I tried using DVD Decrypter and DVDFab Decrypter and both got three quarters of the ripping process done and then froze up. Anyone else having problems or did I just get a bad disc? Not dirty I cleaned it up myself.

I was not sure if it would wind up being hard to burn this one but I went with the basics of DVD Decrypter to rip to hard drive and burn with DVD Shrink, while AnyDVD was working in the background. It went great and no problems, all the software was the latest versions.

The Star Wars 3 DVD being called Charlotte_Disc1, had me wondering if it would work but it turned out it was not that hard at all. Thanks to this site and all I read in the past things only get easier to burn a movie.

To burn or not to burn, there is no question.

Used AnyDVD and Shrink but the compression rate was alot. #1 son wanted that disc as he is into the how did they do that.
You evidently have a bad disc and it needs to be exchanged

Has anyone watched their backup copy of this movie. I bought the movie yesterday and before I watched it I made a backup. Using the backup, from time to time the names Lucas, McCallem, and other appear at the top of the screen. Anyone know how to get rid of this. Thanks

That would be due to subtitle #2 which is usually activated once audio commentary is enabled on the DVD. Names indicate who is speaking at the time of commentary. You could try and go ahead and remove the subtitle track, might be a very small in file size so go to Shrink's options and have it list all subtitle & audio tracks.

Thanks HKT 3020. Using Shrink (on my second try)I removed all subtitles and audio commentary as well as the French and Spanish language tracks but those names kept popping up. I put the first backup that I had made back in and selected Spanish language with English subtitles and that worked as far as removing the names on the screen. Any other ideas.
