Is it possible to formatt a DVD+R so I can use it over again?

You have to buy a DVD+RW which can be erased.

If you are new to the world of burning may I suggest you get yourself a few DVD+RW so that you can use more than once...saves money in the long run. Cheers.

No... all DVD+R and DVD-R can only be written/burned once.
