i have a copy of xmen 2 i've been playing it since it came out. recently it freezes only at certain parts of the game. pretty much only when i'm fighting more then 2 enemies, if 'm just walkin around its fine. if i just run through the part where it always freezes and not fight them its fine but i don't want to go through the whole game not fighting anybody. what the heck is goin on? anyone have a solution? oh and it has no scratches either

Are you using crappy media? Burn at 4x on an 8X DVD-R using DVD Decrypter. Use quality media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Maxell, TDK, Sony, or Phillips.

I have the same problem and i'm using the original game disk too. Game disk is perfect by the way. I think it have something to do with the cheat code or modded console. Anyone have any idea what going on?

Are you using ARMAX or Gameshark? Are you booting your backups with a modchip or Swap Magic? Try it without the cheats and see if it freezes.
