What do you Mean By "TS" Format?? Do you mean a "Video_TS" folder that you Burn to DVD or you you mean a Mpeg-TS or a "Mpeg-2 Transport Stream"???

If you just want to Put the Mpeg-2 files on a DVD all you need is a DVD authoring program which will let you add Menu"s and Chapters to your Movie and then it will format it all into a "Video_TS" folder which it then Burn to DVD for you or you can Burn it yourself useing something like "Nero" in "DVD Video" mode.....

The thing with Captured Satalite Streams is that they are usually not the Correct resolution for DVD as they are usually "544x480" For NTSC or "544x576" for PAL and a Standard DVD is 720x480 For NTSC or 720x576 for PAL so your Files would usually have to be re-Encoded to DVD resolution before they will be DVD Compliant but this will have a Large negitive effect on the Quality so it is good to avoid re-encodeing whenever Possible.....

There is only one DVD authoring program on the Market that will allow you to Put captured Mpeg-2 Satalite Streams on to DVD without re-encodeing them so there is No quality Loss and that Program is called "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" which is also one of the Best DVD authoring programs there is and Makes very Nice menu"s and supports all advanced DVD Features....There is a Bit of a learning Curve but once you learn how to use it you will be able to make very Nice looking DVD"s.....

Cheers

Hi there,

I use VSO DixvToDVD because I like all the features it offers me:

VSO DivXtoDVD v1.99 Pre-Release will:

- Convert all your internet movies (.AVI / .MPG etc..) to DVD Format

- Add subtitles (using .srt files / More formats to come in future releases)

- Add chapters to each files

- Create a menu (Menu entry for each file, based on the filename, for now)

- Burn your DVD creation to media, with it's own built in burn engine

If your Files are allready Mpeg-2 files then all you need to do it use a DVD Authoring program which will allow you to add your menu"s and Chapters and format it into a "Video TS" folder which it then burns to DVD for you.....

All You need to do is download "MediaChance DVDLab (Pro)" and Load in your Mpeg-2 files and a simple Menu and add a couple of Chapters and it will do the rest and you will be Left with a DVD that you can watch in your DVD Player.....

all other Methods will entail you re-encodeing your mpeg-2 files to DVD Compliant Mpeg-2 files which will result in a Loss of Quality but with DVDLab you can avoid that loss of Quality and save a bunch of Time To Boot....

Good Luck
