Joining AVI's Converting PAL to NTSC

I have used VSO to convert PAL avi files to NTSC and that has worked fine. The problem comes when there are more than one avi file to the movie. I tried using Easy Video Joiner, but most times that doesn't work at all, or if it does join the files, it only joins the video and there is no audio on the playback. I can use VSO to put both avi's onto a DVD, however, when playing in my DVD Player it loops to the beginning at the end of the first half. Does anyone have any ideas?

You may try use Power Video Converter or Advanced X Video Converter to join the avis to see if things are better.

Do you know what settings I should use? I have tried several things and either the picture quality drops tremendously or the audio is out of sync.

Oops, sorry, try set video to XviD, and audio to Mpeg Layer 3.
