[REMOVED]

Use WINRAR to open the file.

READ the .nfo file before install.

ALL I ASK IN RETURN is if u download this file, u just say a quick thanks on this post. I have low self-esteem, and it would make me feel much better living in this trailer with this mullet and these wooden teeth to know that I've helped u out.

Thanks!
I followed the steps and I successfully downloaded the MPT.
However, the MPT doesn't recognize my V3 and keep saying initializing.
I guess there is a problem with the driver.
Can you send me or put a link on the board?

Search for the p2k driver and that might help u fix it...should be on this board.

Also, bluetooth depending on what brand dongle u got is sketchy...so if you're using a dongle, cable would be better...I've used both.

First, thanks for the download link!

Do you know what the differences are between MPT 3.40i and the version I have which is 3.25b?

I downloaded your version last night and installed it. It appeared to be the same as the one I have, except that it shows the generic version of the Razr V3, but the 3.25b version shows the Razr.

hmmm didn't really check too closely as to the differences.

The main reason I posted and use 3.40i is cuz you don't have to do that silly live update dance, which confuses the hell out of peeps. I'm guessing there might be a few more phones recognized as well, but I haven't verified it.

Thanks - I'll stay with what I have then, I like having an actual Razr pic for an interface. I just thought if the newer version had other features, I'd switch.

Posting links to warez is a great way to get banned. Don't do it again and read the forum rules - there's a link to them in my sig.

No sweat Nephi...was curious as to what the issue was since there are about a MILLION posts on these forums that have other versions of MPT that certainly aren't freeware.

I even posted about that very question two weeks ago, and no one replied.

I can understand the reason you might not want people posting warez stuff here, but after seeing Senior Members who post warez and get their posts stickied by the mods I didn't think u guys had issue with it.

I'll point you to MOSSY's stickied (moderator sanctioned) post that has links to BOTH PST AND MPT...neither of which are freeware.

If I'm not mistaken, in the A/V forums there are also posts linking to DVD XCopy which is not even legal in the US.

Not hassling you, I'm just trying to help the noobs, and wondered why I'm out of bounds while others are accoladed. If warez shouldn't be around, then it may be wise to delete not only my link but all links as well...just to keep the forums out of jeopardy.

I was just trying to help, now I know the rules.

I came to this thread because your link was reported as warez. I use my cell phone to dial a number a talk to someone - that's the extent of it so I personally know zip about these apps and if they're free or not. I'm doing what I can because there's no dedicated mod for our cell phone forums. If there are any more links to warez phone apps then I'd be happy to delete them if they're shown to me specifically.

I realize you're not trying to hassle me but keep in mind that I'm one of just a handful of Mods here trying to deal with literally thousands of new posts every day. I do the best I can with what little free time I have so unfortunately some warez links go unnoticed. If anything is out of sorts and needs my, or any Mods, attention then we're just a pm away :)
