I have a friend at work who asked me if it was possible to remove the audio only from dvds. The DVDs are called "Huevos" (4-wheeler atv stunts), and basicly have music tracks set to the videos. He was wanting to take the audio tracks off and make a CD (mp3 probably) off of those tracks.

Is it possible? If so, what tools would I need. I usually hang out in the Xbox backup section of AfterDawn and am pretty familiar with most DVD backup tools, am also some-what familiar with backing up DVDs, but I have no clue what-so-ever on what to do or if it's possible to remove audio only.

An easy way would be to convert the dvd into a popular video format such as AVI with e.g. ImToo DVD Ripper, then use e.g. Power Video Converter or Advanced X Video Converter to rip the audio off the AVI into wav or mp3 format.

I just downloaded ImToo & Power Video Converter. Probably wont get a chance to try it out today, cause I'm leaving for work within the hour, but will tonight.

Are there any limitiations with the shareware versions?
