I only have access to a mac with a DVD burner and I can't find free trial software for toast. Would using the default burner be a problem? If so, is there any other free software for mac that I might try using?

think i'll give this a little bump and add that the software for mac is disk utility.

ok seriously, anybody? everyone says Nero or or Alcohol 120% or something but is there any actual advantage to those programs?

Why don't you give it a try. I would say as long as your burner can create and burn ISO's and Images then it's worth a try. You got nothing to lose except maybe ending up with a coaster. Just give it a shot...I don't know anything bout Mac's so I'm not much help with programs. But Nero, Alcohol 120%, and DVD Decrypter are good programs because they are functional and get the job done, and it seems to be the choice of most people on this forum. good luck.
