I think there's two things that you can try.

1. Get better media. I'm currently using Ritek and have always worked for me.

2. Check your settings. What speed are you burning at. Depending of the supported speed of the disc, try burning at a slower speed. Like 2x or even 1x speed.

That's about all I can suggest. Also be sure you're using a DVD-R. Try that out. Good luck.

Computer Specs:
AMD Athlon64 3700+ (oc'ed to 2.5Ghz)
2gb OCZ premier RAM
ASUS A8R-MVP motherboard
two ATi X1600 Pro 512mb each running in Crossfire
Thermaltake Silent Purepower 500W PSU
LG DVD +/-RW drive 4120
ACER 19" LCD 1916B

Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R. Use DVD Decrypter: http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html Use good DVD-R's like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Maxell, TDK, Sony, or Phillips.
