Hi,
I have a PS2 version 5/6 with the screw in the expansion slot.

I purchased the Swap Magic Plus 3.6 with "No Solder Modchip for PS2 v5/6/7 #16142" http://www.modchip.ca/store/product.php?productid=16142&cat=269&page=2
Would this one work? How does it work? Can anyone help "me" the newbie? I installed it and run the Swap Magic disc. When see the load program screen, then I eject and load the PS2 DVD game "SSX 3" and "Tony Hawk game". It shows as "is not a PS2 disc". NEED HELP

Thanks in advance

Having one of these myself, I should know they work great and very easy to install. I was 11 at the time of installation and I did it by myself with my uncle to supervise. If you have a v5/v6 and it says it will work it will work ok ? Install it, then start up your ps2 with the SM3.6 DVD disk in the drive.

Once it has loaded up, HOLD (can't stress it enough) Eject button, the tray will open fast, QUICKLY swap the SM3.6 DVD with your game or homebrew app and when the tray starts to go back in let go of eject. Now just hit Load Program.
