Okay...really wanna back up my resident evil 4. I downloaded dvd decryptor and and read it and write it to another disc just fine. (does it matter if it's a dvd+r or -r? can i just put that dvd copy in my ps2 and play it? I've got the old fat version of ps2. do i need anything else. can i please get a step by step. thanks!!!

You will need a Mod Chip or Swap Magic+Slide Tool/Flip Top to play backed up games,you cant just put it in your PS2 and play it.

Please read the stickies at the top of the forum,they are there for a reason,and will answer almost any question youll ever have.(They sure did for me :D)

Check out the link below in my sig.. it'll tell you what hardware you need with swapmagic for whatever version your ps2 is. Or you could get a modchip.
Remember that you need good dvd discs to burn your backup discs on, there's also a list of good media in my sig.
