What's the difference between your link to the private store, and the regular Abacus store at http://www.abacus24-7.com/Epson-Stylus-Photo-R320.htm
The price is considerably cheaper at the private store, so is there a difference at all or just a cheaper affiliate vendor using their store site?

Try www.tylermartin.com for epson compatible ink. Their Necotron and USA lines of ink have worked well for me.

I second the Abacus ink. That's all I've used, after original ink.

I just ordered 3 more sets of ink cartridges from private abacus. $55, Not too shabby.
I just picked up some canon glossy photo paper and the case cover for Fantastic 4 turned out super. Extremely high quality print with the abacus ink! It looked better than the original cover!
BTW: Anybody wanting an epson R-320, Staples have them for $129 after rebate this week.

I use an Epson R220 and I've just bought a piece of kit called a Continuous Ink Supply System. It's absolutely brilliant. It consists of six black cartridges linked to six ink tanks ( about 120mm high x 60 mm wide x 30 mm deep ) by transparent tubes. Using compatable inks the cost saving is immense. It cost me £75 ( Approx US $129 ) I was a bit fearful of installing it, but it's really easy and worked o/k straight out of the box- no problemo! Highly Reccommended. Get it and refills from

I buy all of mines there, cheap, I get both black and color for my Epson 1000 ICS for $12 shipped. So cheap right? That's why I love my printer and printpal. Look over there.

If anyone has a staples and doesn't re-fill their cartridges, then take those empties over to staples. They'll give you $3 voucher per cartridge. The drawback, they'll only take 1 of those vouchers per transaction!
6 cartridges at private.abacus: $19 or so.
6 staples vouchers: $18
That's almost free ink!
Living 2 mins away from my nearby staples makes it convenient to stop over for 1 item at a time and use those vouchers!
COLSKI: I've heard of that continuous ink system. Way too much ink for my needs.
How many pics a day you print?

Saugmon,
I don't do a lot of pics. Mostly I do Cd/Dvds and their covers , you would be surprised how much ink is used up doing these - The carts don't last long, 1-2 weeks tops.I got sucked off paying up to £50 for a set of 6 Epsons (only £20 for compats) so I decided to get the continuous supply system .The only real dodgy part with this is the positioning of the ink supply cables from the reservoirs to the carts. - very tricky , but with a bit of thought it can be done.
BTW. I'm in the UK , can't get Epsons refilled over here- only HP and Lexmarks.

Just read a piece in Computeractive magazine, where somone bought a printer (unknown make) from a large supermarket for £30 - US$51.50.
When the ink ran out they went back to same supermarket for new carts. and found they would have to pay £32- US$54.96 for a full set!
A member of the staff told them to just buy a new printer as they would get a full set of carts. and a new warranty!Bloody mad.
we are getting ripped off with ink prices.

That's the same with my last 2 printers: Lexmark z-25. About $30 for 2 ink cartridges and $25 to buy a new one. It was still a pc of crap printer. Regular paper had to be fed 1 at a time!
I took 2 of those lexmark cartridges over to staples for another $6 in vouchers! I still have a few more of them somewhere in my room.

Has anyone ever tried supermediastore epson ink? They're running a 25 percent off deal right now which is pretty good if you need to get some individual cartridges:
http://www.supermediastore.com/epson-r300.html?WT.mc_id=060106sup...
The full set is $18 with free shipping. Comes up a little less than abacus with the free shipping. However I do recommend abacus, their cartrides are great and I don't get the epson error box that saids they are not epson cartridges do I still want to continue.

kenneth - I read the fine print. I needed extra magnenta and yellow. So I needed to buy 2 extra of each so it cost me $31.20 for 10 cartridges shipped. Which is pretty good at $3.12 a cartridge delivered. Got them in 4 days. Haven't had a chance to use them as I am waiting for my current supply to run out. I will let everyone know how good they are after I use them.
