Hi folks, I posted this once before, but cant seem to find it, so just trying one more time .
I see a few folks here have had luck burning a couple games that I am haveing problems with . Imade backups of "Mercanaries" and "Terminator the Redemtion", the beginning of both games work, but when it gets to the final load, right before you can actually play the game, it stops loading and just sits there.

I thought it was a bad burn with Nero, so then I burned them both again with DVDdecrypter, and still same results.

I am using swapmagic version 3.6. Have been burning on 2x, and using Maxell DVD-R's, which works well for playing movies on the PS2, and a couple other backups work fine as well.

I have looked over the site, that have the fixes, but then read somewhere that you shouldn't need them if using swap magic 3.6.

Also, how do I tell what PS2 version I have? All I see on the back is the model number SCPH-30001 R, but nothing about version.

There must be one or two details I'm missing here, can anyone help?

Mercenaries needs to be rebuilt to work.. check out the threads at the top of the board about rebuilding.
With modchips you don't need to rebuild. With swap magic sometimes the games need to be rebuilt. Best thing to do is do a SEARCH on here for the game that you want to backup and hopefully someone will have posted if it needs a rebuild or not.

I know i have written many posts on Mercenaries
I have given full instructions on what to do
and even a link to a patch to rebuild it with.

heh, heh, ya, I hear what your saying, but the reason I came to the conclusion that I needed more help is because, someone posted that swap magic version 3.6 took care of needing to do any rebuilds.
Trust me, I started reading this forum for about 4 hours before i decided to post. I have abit of an ego when it comes to asking for help for ANYthing, I usually spend quite abit of time trying to figure it out for myself first.

OK then, back to the swapmagic site, I also see that someone has a new sticky up with great info.

Didn't mean to push anyones buttons asking questions,but I also was told that the Terminator game should be a straight burn, but it only works for the introduction of the game, then starts loading, but doesn't get any further than that. I have searched high and low for anyone with a simlier problem, but haven't seen anything, except for games that dont load at ALL, but that doesn't pertain to my issue.
