HELP!!! programming error

please help. i get this error message when trying to backup a DVD. and i get this message: DVD shrink encountered an error and connot continue. Programming error- exception occured The parameter is inncorect. that is the mess i get. i have tryed backing up with DVDdecrypter, and upload in the DVD shrink it doesnt work. i get the same message. PLEASE i would like ur help if anyone knows how to fix this problem

Open Shrink, go to the Edit button, then click preferences. On the File I/O tab, make sure the overlapped I/O is checked. If not, do so. Click ok and try backing up again from the disc. Holla back if you need more help.

This could be an encryption problem. Try to rip to hard drive with DVDFab. You can get it here at AD free. Click on the software tab and download it. DVDShrink is not being updated anymore so it might not handle the newer encryptions.

That error code was caused by a quirk in DVDDecrypter that was going to be fixed in the new version but that version never came to be as there were some minor legal problems.
Do what 9mmruger1 said to do and d/l DVDFAB Decrypter and rip the disk to HD. You can also use AnyDVD in conjunction w/ Shrink

ok well. i downloaded the DVDfad express. and i started the process with the DVDfad and it worked great, but then once i put it to DVDshrink it analyzed it sucessful and then when it when to start burning at 2% and a window came up saying:DVD shrink encountered an error and connot continue. Programming error- exception occured. do u know what else i can do?

I want you to D/L the trial version of Nero 7 as it is free. Now I am going to give you the instructions for Nero 6 but hopefully they are the same. If you d/l Nero 7 make sure you DO NOT INSTALL INCD.
1. Go to Nero Recode
2. Go to Remake a Movie
3. On the right hand side IMPORT TITLES. You will browse until you find the folder DVDFAB Decrypter made. Now click on that and process like you would Shrink removing audio and subtitles. If all that you want is Title 1 ( movie) te highlight that and click add title.
4. Close screen and click next and follow the instructions.

If this fails then you have a problem between the MOBO and the burner.

You can also try another program like CloneDVD: 21 day free trial.

I did not know you had Nero 6 Ultra. The directions I gave were for Nero 6 so the answer is Yes it will work
